Darnitall.... 1-2 inches of snow expected in my neck of the woods...
RIGHT WHEN... my peonies have big blooms about to open, my apple trees just finished blooming, my roses and other flowers just starting to come on...

Its been a race to get the empty garbage cans covering what we can...we had the best fruit tree flowering ever this spring...we had bees galore in our trees...now I wonder if it will kill all the tiny "applets"...

Doggone it... I hope my neighbor doesn't loose his alfalfa... its about ten inches tall...

This climate change is going to take a heavy toll....

33 degrees on May 23rd.... dang!

Cindy G...better pack a jacket! Its supposed to be 78 degrees on clinic day...lets hope that prediction holds!

We hit a cool spell and dropped to 85 with light cool breeze last 2 days. It must be heading up your way, ugly mean looking dark clouds.

Certainly is a late snowfall, maybe it won't. I'll wish some heat from us over to you.

That's terrible!!!

We had a hard freeze after all the peaches had set fruit this year. The baby peaches turned to mush and peaches are a huge crop in this state. I can't remember a freeze that hard that late in 50 years I've been here. Usually once the peaches set fruit they are safe. One local peach grower opened an ice cream stand after his crop froze one year. It's doing great and it's a good thing.

Hope you guys get off with just a dusting and melt giving some nice slow soil moisture.

We're in a drought now and Florida is a lot worse. My friend in Florida is frantic to find hay for her boarding barn and her own horses. We were just lucky that we bought a sizable amount before it was all sold. Just plain lucky. Sure hope it lasts until the rains come.

We had a late freeze too. The peach crop is gone. I still have blueberries that are looking good. Now it's too dry for hay.

It's hard to be a farmer.

Snow, YUK!

So, how many clothes do I need to bring. Just a jacket or a jacket and long sleeves and short sleeves or what? I hate packing. :-?

No snow here, Terry....but water, water, and more water. We are soaked! Our hayfield looks better than ever, but I am wondering when we can get it cut. With rain every day...no time for the grass to dry.
Just heard on the 10pm news: a funnel cloud, in my county... just west of us???? Now, they are predicting wind for tonight....

There's warm air right behind the cold air. We had rain here, but it did get down near freezing.

I'd plan on layers Cindy. The mornings will be cool and it will warm up to comfortable by afternoon. Of course, in that arena, it may not.

If you can, drive over and watch a little of the Westenairs practice. They're right next door and it's pretty cool to see so many little girls growing up with horses. Also pretty cool to see what they can do by the time they're in the older group.

I hope you all have a great clinic. I'll be attending Sandy's clinic in Nampa this weekend. Must be a good weekend for them. :-)

Monument Colorado (about 30 miles from me) got FIVE INCHES of snow!
Mine is all gone already...suns up and it melted....now, its a muddy, flooded mess!

Cindy....I bet it will be very nice by Saturday...short sleeves...I'd sure bring a light jacket though...

I hope that was the LAST snow blast of the season.....YIKERS!
