http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y175/Jasfino/haunteddolls016.jpg
Some of my friends.. ride too...
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y175/Jasfino/haunteddolls018.jpg

http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y175/Jasfino/haunteddolls010.jpg
I have some other friends.. that Jennifer's hubby found for her...
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y175/Jasfino/haunteddolls003.jpg
They would like to ride.. but arent in that good of shape..
Here are some Indians that like to play cowboys and indians with us some nights when everyone in the house is asleep... they watch closely for anyone that might catch us.. when we are supposed to be sleeping..
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y175/Jasfino/indians002.jpg
Well I just wanted to sneak on here and say hi.. to everyone.. and let them know.. that haunted things.. arent real at all.. just ask my sister..

Frankly, I find those pics creepier than the ones of the house. Old dolls (and clowns) scare the crap out of me for some reason.
The one on the right, here, almost made me scream out loud.

Oooo...are those YOURS, Jaz...???? You DO know that spirits sometimes attach themselves to old dolls, furniture, clothing...just like houses, right??? It's a wonder you don't have a whole colony of spirits just dancing around you...
Now I want you to back up and photograph the furniture they are sitting on...in fact, photograph the whole room...I want to see it! That is right up my alley...I LOVE antiques and old dolls....
Now I'm going to direct you to the mirror in the second picture...do you see the traveling orb moving toward the doll....???

Words can't even express how much those scare me.
Let's put it this way....if I was staying over night in that house, and I heard a noise...and then turned on the light to find the dolls posted in Barb's pasted picture staring back at me.....I'd crap myself.

So, I hope that means Barb doesn't have scary dolls like that in her house! If she did I think I'd be sleeping in the barn with Amante and Mojo!

...C'mon... now... be brave!! That poor old pitiful doll cant hurt anyone. Some little girl probably loved that little doll to death...
I'm glad ya'll liked them... :D
I will take another one of that old fainting couch that Carol N likes...and of the living room where the guy was supposed to have been shot..
Just about everything in my house is old.. or has a story attatched to it in some way. If you scare easily... it's not a "safe" place to be...lol

I saw that orb you mentioned Carol. I didnt point it out though.. because I wanted to see if anyone else would comment on it. There is another strange thing that happened this afternoon when I was taking a picture in the room the man was supposedly shot in... The corners of the pic were mishapen...for some reason. Thats the first time I have ever taken a pic with this camera and have that to happen. Here is the room where the supposed shooting took place..
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y175/Jasfino/huantedpicstwo012-1.jpg
Over in the corner..in the last pic... where the old radio is... we found some kind of red stain on the floor. We had to take up several layers of old flooring to see it.
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y175/Jasfino/huantedpicstwo013-1.jpg
What is going on with my camera in that last pic? (hubby just looked at the pic and told me.. it's probably a flashed shot of the leaf on the plant..makes sense )
This scary old picture of a little girl hangs in my guest bedroom..
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y175/Jasfino/huantedpicstwo008.jpg
Here is another old pic of a little boy.. they are somewhat harder to find..
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y175/Jasfino/huantedpicstwo010.jpg
Another hauntinly old pic of the barefooted little girl... its really old..
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y175/Jasfino/huantedpicstwo011.jpg
Finally.. (this will probably really creep you all out)... this bed has been in my family for 5 generations. It was my bed as a child...and it's story is that Uncle Tom... who the bed belonged too originally... had a buggy accident and broke his back. He layed on this bed for 6 weeks until he finally died.
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y175/Jasfino/hauntedpicstwo001.jpg
One last pic of the Eastlake fainting couch.. its sits in the dining room.. where everyone seems to get the creeps...??
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y175/Jasfino/hauntedpicstwo008.jpg
I told hubby if anything could be haunted.. it would probably be those pics.. of the little kids.. Its weird to think about how they lived so many yrs ago.. and even though I dont know who they are.. I have them hanging up around my home.. like they are in the family and belong here.

Fantastic collection!, I am a big fan of the Victorian Era...... I truly admired every single one of your pieces...... wow, awesome!!!!!
I respect old "STUFF" alot more than modern machineries of todays world,
I can see many pieces where hand made and painted, truly an art.....
I also enjoyed the diversity found in every corner of your home!!!!!! well, I
think that is your home? and also the way you combined different styles of furnitures to match many different things.....
Two things among everything that really called my personal attention, 1. the carrusel, 2. the wooden horse.
Now, by looking at your collection, interest/taste, personal appreciation and presentation, I can see you are a true born artist,
DONT WASTE YOUR TALENT.............. and WRITE A BOOK!!!!!!
I am sure it will be BEST SELLER too......
THANKS FOR SHARING!!!!!!
SALUDOS!

Well Jas, I didn't have any nightmares about the dolls, I had weird dreams, no dolls.
Your antique collection is truly amazing, and so beautiful...teasing about the dolls aside.
I collect working class odds and ends, I like to think of who used them...things that remind me of my granfathers very worn hands like hand tools etc.
I wonder why though the dolls are so creepy? I bet they creep lots of people out but I wonder why?

I knew I shouldn't have looked at this post!!!
I am so freakin scared of dolls! Hate them!
And I am here, alone, in our office that is an old house built in 1902!
At least it isn't dark out, I'd be outta here if it was!

OK.. I have to admit... the one with no eyes.. is a little creepy. I couldn't throw her away though. She has survived this long.. I do need to send her to the doll hospital for a eye transplant. ;-)
Now, by looking at your collection, interest/taste, personal appreciation and presentation, I can see you are a true born artist,
Caliber... your a sweetheart... :hug
I always thought I would like to be an interior designer though. I get lots of practice.. moving my furniture around in different rooms/spots..lol Hubby says its a good thing he isnt blind... nothing stays in one place very long.. Does anyone else do this.. or do I have some kind of illness?

Yeah, Jaz...right up my alley!!! Your stuff is beautiful. I agree with Calibur...old things need to be respected and preserved...I will try to find some pics of my antiques, and post them. I LOVE them, Jaz...especially the fainting couch...I would kill to have that in my house!!! ;-) :D

I would love to see some pics of your antiques Carol... :D
Hubby and I have been collecting for nearly 20yrs. That antique fainting couch looked horrible when we bought it. Hubby recently recovered it in the red velvet. Did you see that orb in the last pic I posted of the couch? It's in the same room as the mirror. Alot of people think orbs, and such are dust particles.. ?
