Yes, need t check pedigrees very well, I ran into a breeder that claimed he had a PPR mare but in the mares 5or 6 generation, Resorte III popped up. The response I got, that is so far back its doesn't count, this mare is PPR.

That is sad. Too say the least.
Things should be labeled as they are, not what you want them to be
