Taken day one and two - how fast they already start to change!
I think he has a mischevious look at times- and is VERY camera shy!

Oh Lisa, congratulations. He is beautiful!!!!! And Marci is a great mom. I love the picture of him hiding under her. I also think the picture of where you "got him" is priceless!!!!! What a good boy you got.

Oh man of course she foaled while I was off line!!! Bummer its not a filly but he is a real looker. Congrats!!! Sounds like you need to build a big barn. I used one of those car covers for mine. My friend has used a plastic tarped one for years. Her horses are not at all scared of flapping plastic.

LOL....actually, that is what the plan is for now! We will be building our real garage first, and the big tarped garage will become the barn (If I can get help moving and putting it up again!!!).......
I also have a 1 car tarped garage that I have 1/2 up to use as a shelter, and am going to a BIG flea market next Saturday as a vendor ho[ing to make enough $$$ to build my permanent run-in shed.

Wow, what a cutie you have there. Reminds me of Echo when he was born. LOL He is going to be a beauty! Congratulations!
NOW, I am soooo jealous of all your beautiful green lush grass. We are still in the middle of a horrible drought down here. My grass is all brown and dead still! :( My pasture is just about to turn into a sand pit.

Sorry P-Mom...guess I shouldn't tell you I was actually MOWING this afternoon - the grass is SO tall the horses are not eating it.....
I will be posting updated pictures tomorrow - need to get some input on 'Little Man's' (Tori is also calling him 'Bay Boy') legs....still over on the knees - better than when he was born, but he looks like he is having trouble straightening them.....runs all over the place.....I don't want to be too anxious either......I took a bunch of pictures tonight - will have time tomorrow at work to get them up.

;-) You worry too much, but it's good to be watching - just in case. It seems that the bigger the foal, the longer it takes to straighten up completely. Emelina took longer than my other foals to get completely straight, but she is also the biggest by far.

It has been soooooooo long since I've had a baby here (like 7 YEARS!).....I'm out of practice!!!!
Seriously, I do want to make sure things are ok, how long did it take Emelina to straighten out??? :confused :confused :confused :confused :confused

Gee - it's coming up 3 months now... my memory is fading.... ;-) I'd say by two weeks I wasn't worrying about her legs - they always give you a start though when they are first born - especially the bigger ones or the premmies....
