Another Birth Announcement

Wekk, my old stallion, Pali lives on. His last son was born night before last. Pali, of course is dad, and mom is a "borrowed" Andante de Besilu granddaughter. No name yet and I had a friend take pics and e-mail them to me, but I can't get them to save to my computer so can't post them. Words cannot express how much this little guy means to me. Fortunately for him, he doesn't look like Pali so I won't be making that comparison. Just love him for him. If anyone can assist with pics, I would be grateful.

That is a VERY nice baby! Mom has the hair gene...looks like he may have gotten it too. He has a pretty good thick tail for a newborn.
And the donkey is sooo cute! Love his hair.

Thanks everyone. Naturally I think the little one is beautiful. One of the sweetest and friendliest babies I've ever seen. Takes after his dad, I think! A friend and I went to "look" at a donkey last Sunday and she is what we came back with! She's really sweet and smart. Her name is Dora. Sehe will be the guardian in the mamma and baby pasture.

Thanks Lori for posting "Dancer's" picture. It was taken last night at 1 week old. His name will be Palisandro's Ultimo Baile. He is a love and looks like he will, at least partially, fill his dad's shoes.

Thanks, Terry, he is wonderful! Dora, the donkey is very cutem but has turned out to be a verrry expensive girl. She and I had a slight run-in the day we purchased her and I now have a spiral fracture in a finger! Dora - 1, Onie - 0.

She really is sweet and really verbal! It was just one of those freak accidents. After worming and decent feed, all that winter coat is coming off of her. Will post more pics when she sheds completely.
