It would be hard to find a more lucrative and exciting pedigree. With Capuchino, Resorte Cuarto, Ladrillo, and the beautiful Castellano in his lineage, this 1997 red chestnut stallion has a promising and productive future. “Red” has already proven himself in the show ring winning countless blue ribbons in Bella Forma. He excelled up and down the West Coast, achieving West Coast Champion Bella Forma Colt in 1999, and Reserve West Coast Champion Bella Forma Stallion in 1999, and again in 2001. He won a High Point Two Year Old Bella Forma Colt Award in 1999. He attained his Title of Proficiency in 2000 at the age of three. His sire is El Picaflor de Casta, another prominent stallion in the show ring. His dam, La Castellana de Casta, is a double Castellano granddaughter. His Grand Dam, Leyenda La Joya, was chosen as Fourth in the Top Ten Mares of 2002. Outside of the show ring, Rojo Tejas has proven himself a prepotent sire with his foals exhibiting the easily recognizable beautiful, chiseled head, substantial neck with broad energetic chest, exquisite round rump, and dynamic hocks!
